· Sugar Monkey Cupcakes was founded by Neda Darwish, RN.  It all  started when she happened to make a cake for some of her co-workers.  From that day forward the previously reluctant baker never stopped getting  requests for her unique and delicious cakes.  She hung up her stethoscope and pretty soon starting making her cakes full time.

· “I can bake a cake and save a life equally as well!”  Being a nurse, you work to make people better, happier and its that same drive that  makes a person want to bake something special for others.” We still make custom cakes but our focus has become cupcakes (because cupcakes rock)!  They are portable,  highly customizable, yummy(!) and fun to create.”

· “Sugar Monkey was a name derived from my three boys, they are my little sugar monkey’s. On any given day you may see them hanging around the shop, sneaking cupcakes or doing what they most like,  tormenting each other.”

· We specialize in cupcakes and that is all we do, so we work hard everyday to create new flavors  and to offer you the best, don’t see a flavor you like, tell us what you would like to see and we just may put it on the menu!
